Built using Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, and a deep understanding of automotive movement, this project demonstrates our technical mastery and creative innovation.
The Making of an Icon
The journey began with detailed 3D modeling and rigging in Autodesk Maya. Every joint, weight, and surface was meticulously crafted to ensure realistic movement and high-fidelity visuals. Once the Camaro was fully rigged, we took it into Unreal Engine—where the real magic happened.
To showcase its true beauty and power, we built two immersive environments:
Garage Scene: Where Shadows and Steel Collide
Picture this: A dimly lit, underground garage—the kind of place where deals are made in whispers, engines roar to life, and machines wait in the darkness, ready to unleash their power.
This isn’t just a background—this is a mood. A statement.

- Lighting & Mood - This scene isn’t just lit—it’s orchestrated. The careful balance of warm ambient glows and cold metallic reflections adds to the mystery and intrigue of the setting.

New York City: A Custom-Built Urban Playground
A Camaro isn’t meant to sit still. It’s meant to own the streets. So, we built a New York City environment where this machine could roam freely.
But here’s the twist—we didn’t just use a pre-made city. We designed our own.
How We Built This City

- Handcrafted City Composition – Using Epic Games’ free city assets, we selected buildings, streets, and props and arranged them into a realistic, living city block—our own little piece of New York.
- Attention to Detail – From realistic asphalt textures to reflective skyscraper glass, every material was finetuned for true-to-life visual fidelity.
- An Interactive Playground – This city isn’t just a backdrop—it’s a fully functional driving environment. And that’s where the Camaro truly shines.

Drivable Camaro: Bringing the Beast to Life

- Immersive Road Interaction - The Camaro responds to the environment, whether it’s the way tires grip the asphalt or the way suspension reacts to uneven roads.
But as fun as it is to drive the Camaro, we wanted to take things a step further.

AI Camaro: The Real Star of the Show
This isn’t just a scripted car following a path. This is an intelligent, self-driving machine that reacts to its surroundings in real-time.
AI Driving Capabilities:

- Traffic Awareness & Reaction – The AI detects other vehicles on the road and makes real-time decisions to steer, brake, or accelerate, just like a human driver would.
- Traffic Light Obedience – Unlike most game AI that just ignores red lights, this Camaro respects the rules— stopping at red lights and taking off when it’s safe.
- Adaptive Speed Control – Given a target speed, the AI Camaro pushes itself to reach that speed as fast as possible while still handling corners smoothly and avoiding dangerous maneuvers.
- Precision Steering & Braking – This AI isn’t just following a straight road—it’s calculating speed parameters for every turn, braking at just the right moments, and adjusting its trajectory dynamically.
- Coding Perfection & Detail – Every aspect of the AI’s behavior was fine-tuned for realism, ensuring that it doesn’t just look good—it feels real.
