Pagani Alisea
A Dream Sculpted in Reality
In the heart of Turin, where design meets passion and innovation, a remarkable journey unfolded—one that would push boundaries, challenge limits, and bring a vision to life. The Pagani Alisea wasn’t just another concept car; it was a symphony of craftsmanship, engineering, and the relentless pursuit of perfection.
In 2024, as part of my thesis project at IED Turin, I had the honor of working in collaboration with Pagani Automobili to create something extraordinary—a futuristic tribute to the legendary Zonda on its 25th anniversary. The result? Alisea, a breathtakingly elegant hypercar concept that reimagines the spirit of the Zonda while embracing the future.
Leading the CAS Development – My Role & Challenges
My role in this incredible project was to lead the CAS (Computer-Aided Styling) Development, a crucial phase where sketches and digital dreams evolve into production-ready surfaces. This meant taking artistic concepts and refining them into precise, manufacturable Class-A surfaces while ensuring aerodynamic efficiency, structural feasibility, and aesthetic purity—all within an extremely tight timeline.
Leading the CAS development was a thrilling and intense experience. With deadlines looming and expectations sky-high, my responsibility was not only to execute but also to guide and synchronize a team of talented designers. Every challenge—whether it was surface continuity, feasibility constraints, or last-minute design refinements—became an opportunity to problem-solve creatively and push the limits of digital sculpting.
With only weeks to refine the surfaces, agility and decision-making were critical. There were countless late nights, rapid iterations, and on-the-spot problem-solving sessions, but the dedication of the team never wavered. We had to find solutions fast, communicate effectively, and maintain Pagani’s obsessive attention to detail—all while ensuring that the final surfaces retained the purity and elegance of our initial vision.

The Alisea – A Celebration of Timeless Design
The final result was nothing short of breathtaking. Alisea’s sculpted bodywork flows like liquid, free from excessive aero elements yet engineered for performance. Its teardrop-shaped cockpit, active aerodynamics, and the signature four-pipe exhaust pay homage to the Zonda’s DNA while forging its own futuristic identity.
Built as a 1:1 full-scale prototype, this concept became a testament to what passion, collaboration, and unbreakable perseverance can achieve. Working alongside 23 fellow designers, Pagani engineers, and industry experts, this project was more than just a design exercise—it was a masterclass in innovation, problem-solving, and leadership under pressure.

For me, Alisea is not just a concept car; it’s a symbol of growth, resilience, and the joy of creating something that will inspire generations to come. Leading the CAS team in such a high-stakes project taught me the power of teamwork, the importance of precision, and the magic of turning sketches into reality.
Alisea is a love letter to the automotive world, a fusion of Italian artistry and cutting-edge design. And as I look back, I can say with pride—it was an experience that transformed not just my career, but also my perspective on what’s possible when vision meets relentless execution.
